PCTSUni

PCTSUni is a pan coating process simulation program utilizing PCTS' patent-pending coating uniformity tool.  Its intended target is for the quality control of processes requiring precision in coating distribution such as functional coating applications, but it can be used for cost controls of non-functional coating applications.  An extensive set of variables associated with bed particle properties, solvent properties, equipment setup and geometry, and process controls are considered for the analysis of process capacity, efficiency, coating environment, and tablet-to-tablet coating uniformity.  This analysis can be used for formulation design, process development, process design, process scale up and bridging, and troubleshooting.
